Heather Harvey completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Family & Consumer Sciences at Louisiana Tech University. She also completed a second Master’s degree in Counseling at Dallas Baptist University.
Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and additional eclectic counseling methodswhile incorporating her faith, Heather provides counseling to adolescents, children, couples and families.
Heather is a Certified Anger Management Specialist-I (CAMS-I) and provides anger management counseling to individuals of all ages by viewing anger from a biblical view. Heather offers individual anger management help, including seeing individuals who have been ordered by the judicial system.
Heather has gained experience working with families and children in various settings, including foster care and adoption, medical hospitals, psychiatric facilities, schools, private practice and inner-city communities.
Heather is active in her church and enjoys being with family and friends, reading and watching movies.
