Meagan Yarbrough

Meagan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology and a Master of Arts in Counseling at Dallas Baptist University, and she is credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Meagan also has postgraduate training in a Certificate Training Program through Light University on Gerontology and Aging, Sociology of Aging program at the University of North Texas, and is currently involved in a Graduate Certificate Program in Gerontology at the University of South Florida.

Meagan has a passion for helping others experience true healing. Her hope is to  help guide others toward knowledge and truth that leads to changed minds and lives. Prior to joining Hope For The Heart, Meagan gained experience working at an inpatient mental health facility. Meagan’s approach to counseling encompasses an integration of Christianity and psychology when the client desires that Christianity be involved. Some of the counseling methods Meagan uses include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution- Focused Therapy and Psychoanalytic Therapy.

Meagan is an avid football fan. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling internationally and watching movies.
